
Stressful Selling? Not with Westfield Property....

In an ideal world....

"You put your house on the market with an Estate Agent.
The next day a first time buyer comes along.
The next day they come back with a wheel barrow full of money.
You bank the money and hand over the deeds."

However....

In practice, you ask a number of Estate Agents to value your house and get vastly different figures and from day one don't know how much you'll end up with.
You go for the highest figure, only to find out that he is "buying business" and after six months you will be asked to reduce the price. The house goes on the market.

The adverts don't appear for two weeks in the local paper and the price is wrong.
After 4 weeks, somebody comes to have a look at the house but haven't even put their house on the market and therefore cannot proceed for some time.

After another three weeks, a couple come along, say they want to buy it and for the next two weeks keep sending all kinds of surveyors round trying to pick holes in your home.
Eventually the price is renegotiated downwards and solicitors are instructed.
